CycleFlourish Privacy Policy
Effective date: 21 July 2026
CycleFlourish is a local-first cycle, fertility-awareness, and wellbeing tracking app. This policy explains what information the app stores, how it is used, and which third-party services may process subscription access.
CycleFlourish is not a medical device or medical app. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, prevent, or monitor any medical condition. Cycle dates, fertile-window estimates, ovulation estimates, sleep insights, food ideas, vitamin ideas, movement ideas, symptom responses, recipes, and trying-to-conceive guidance are educational only. Always consult a qualified medical professional for medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, pregnancy planning, fertility concerns, symptoms, medication, supplements, or health decisions.
Who Is Responsible For This Policy
CycleFlourish is developed and published by Hikaris Technology Limited.

Information Stored In The App
In the Android and iOS apps, CycleFlourish stores reproductive-health records locally in a SQLCipher-encrypted database. A random database key is generated on the device and kept separately through the operating system's protected key storage using Expo SecureStore. Harmless interface and subscription-access preferences may remain in ordinary app preferences. The browser preview uses browser storage and does not provide the native app's database encryption. Stored information may include:
- Cycle dates, cycle length, period length, overall flow, daily period-flow entries, and cycle notes.
- Symptoms and free-text notes entered by the user.
- LH or ovulation test dates and results.
- Optional dated cervical mucus, sex or insemination markers, and pregnancy-test results.
- If pregnancy support is started: positive-test date, last-period date, estimated due date, dating source, and pregnancy-tracking status.
- Sleep logs, including sleep duration, quality, bedtime/wake regularity, night waking, irregular schedules, and optional morning temperature.
- Onboarding answers, the user's chosen support focus, cycle knowledge, and trying-to-conceive context.
- App preferences, app-open state, premium access status, and local feature state.
- Generated PDF summary content, when the user chooses to create or share a report.
This data can include sensitive health and wellbeing information because it may relate to menstrual cycles, fertility, symptoms, sleep, ovulation, and pregnancy planning.
How Information Is Used
CycleFlourish uses locally stored information to:
- Estimate cycle phases, fertile windows, and likely period timing.
- Show local cycle history and pattern summaries.
- Display sleep, LH test, and cycle tracking insights.
- Show pregnancy-support dates and educational weekly information after the user intentionally starts that mode.
- Provide phase-aware food, movement, recipe, and wellbeing guidance.
- Generate appointment-ready PDF summaries when the user chooses to create one.
- Remember onboarding and app preferences on the same device.
- Adapt educational prompts to the support focus selected by the user.
Information Not Collected Or Shared In This Release
In the current local-first release:
- CycleFlourish does not create user accounts.
- CycleFlourish does not upload cycle, fertility, symptom, sleep, LH test, note, or PDF data to a CycleFlourish server.
- CycleFlourish does not sell user data.
- CycleFlourish does not share saved cycle data with advertisers or data brokers.
- CycleFlourish does not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
- CycleFlourish does not connect to Apple Health, Google Health Connect, Oura, Fitbit, Garmin, or cloud sync in this release.
- CycleFlourish does not read contacts, photos, camera, microphone, location, or calendar data as part of its core functionality.
Subscriptions And RevenueCat
Premium subscriptions may be processed through Google Play, Apple, and RevenueCat. RevenueCat may receive an anonymous app user identifier, subscription and purchase history or status, product identifiers, store purchase tokens or receipt/transaction information, app/device/OS metadata, IP-derived information, and service timestamps needed to manage purchases, entitlement status, fraud prevention, and purchase restoration.
CycleFlourish does not send cycle entries, fertility signals, pregnancy-test results, pregnancy dates, notes, LH test results, sleep logs, PDF summaries, or onboarding answers to RevenueCat. Store payments are processed by Google Play or Apple under their own payment and account policies.
If accounts, cloud sync, analytics, advertising, crash reporting, wearable sync, Health Connect, Apple Health, or other third-party services are added later, this policy and the Play Store Data Safety answers must be updated before those features go live.
Data Export And Sharing
PDF summaries are generated from data stored locally in the app. The user chooses whether to download or share a PDF. If the user shares a PDF with another person, app, clinic, cloud drive, messaging service, or email provider, that sharing is controlled by the user and may be handled under the receiving service's privacy practices.
The user can also export a JSON copy of all locally stored CycleFlourish tracking data. This can include highly sensitive reproductive-health information. The app shows a warning before creating this export.
Only share PDF summaries with people or services you trust.
Data Retention And Deletion
CycleFlourish stores local data until the user deletes it, clears app/browser data, uninstalls the app, changes device, or the device storage removes it.
Users can delete local CycleFlourish data inside the app by opening CycleFlourish, going to Privacy, tapping Delete all local data, and confirming deletion.
This clears locally stored cycle history, fertility signals, pregnancy-test results, pregnancy timeline data, LH test results, sleep logs, notes, onboarding answers, premium access state, and saved preferences on that device. On Android and iOS, deletion removes the encrypted database and its encryption key before creating a fresh empty encrypted store. Active store subscriptions must be managed through Google Play or Apple.
Because this release does not upload saved tracking data to a CycleFlourish server, there is no CycleFlourish cloud account copy of those health logs to delete. Deleting local data does not cancel a subscription or erase transaction records held by Google Play, Apple, or RevenueCat under their own retention and legal obligations.
Security
CycleFlourish does not currently provide a separate in-app PIN or biometric lock. Users should protect the device with a strong screen lock and may use a device-provided app-lock feature where available.
On Android and iOS, reproductive-health records and health-related onboarding answers are encrypted at rest in a SQLCipher database. Its randomly generated key is kept separately using Android Keystore or iOS Keychain through Expo SecureStore. Encryption reduces the risk from an extracted database file, but it cannot protect information while the app is open on an unlocked or compromised device.
The browser preview uses ordinary browser storage and is not protected by the native SQLCipher database. Users should not enter real health information into a shared browser or computer. JSON exports and PDF summaries are readable files created only when the user requests them; those exported files are not protected by the app database encryption after they are saved or shared.
Android cloud backup is disabled for CycleFlourish to reduce unintended copying of local tracking data.
Do not enter information you would not want stored on the device. Keep your device secure and avoid sharing unlocked access with people you do not trust.
Children
CycleFlourish is designed for adults and is not directed at children. It should not be used by children without appropriate parent, guardian, and medical guidance.
Health Disclaimer
CycleFlourish gives educational tracking estimates only. Predictions may be wrong because cycles, ovulation, symptoms, sleep, illness, stress, medication, breastfeeding, perimenopause, PCOS, pregnancy, and many other factors can change cycle patterns.
Do not use CycleFlourish as contraception. Do not rely on CycleFlourish as the only basis for pregnancy, fertility, ovulation, symptom, medication, supplement, or medical decisions. If symptoms feel urgent, severe, sudden, or unsafe, seek medical help immediately.
Changes To This Policy
This policy may be updated when the app changes. The effective date at the top should be changed whenever the policy is updated.
